The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may announce the Class 10 Board results earlier this time around. Although an official announcement regarding the result date has not yet been made, it is widely believed that CBSE could release the results as early as April, given that the Phase-2 examinations are scheduled to be held in May, and the Board may choose to declare the results before that. Once the results are released, students who appeared for the examination can check their outcomes on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. The CBSE Class 10 results can also be accessed via SMS, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app.
To check their results, students will be required to enter key details—such as their Roll Number, School Number, and Admit Card ID—which are printed on their admit cards. Regarding the examinations themselves, the CBSE Class 10 Board exams commenced on February 17 and concluded on March 11. These examinations were conducted in a single shift, running from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

**Second Examination to be Held in May**
According to the new format, the CBSE conducts Class 10 Board examinations twice a year. The first examination takes place between February and March and is mandatory for all students, whereas the second CBSE examination is held in May and is optional for students who wish to improve their marks.
This examination system has been introduced in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to reduce exam-related stress and provide students with an additional opportunity to perform better. Students wishing to improve their performance will be permitted to appear for the second examination in select subjects; for the final marksheet, the highest marks obtained across both attempts will be considered.
