New Delhi: A bomb threat message was found on an IndiGo flight travelling from Bengaluru to Delhi, leading to a security check at Kempegowda International Airport on Saturday evening.

According to officials, a piece of tissue paper with a message claiming the presence of an explosive device in the aircraft’s lavatory was discovered by a passenger, causing concern.

Following standard safety procedures, the pilot informed air traffic control, and security teams carried out a thorough inspection of the aircraft. All passengers were deboarded during the process.

No explosives or suspicious items were found, and authorities later declared the threat to be a hoax.

The flight departed later in the evening and reached Delhi safely.
