Beverly Hills 90210 icon Tori Spelling, who played Donna Martin in the 1990s teen soap, and seven children have been rushed to hospital following a horror car crash. The 52-year-old mum of five was driving four of her children and three of their friends in her SUV when they were involved in a high-speed collision with another car in Temecula, California, just before 6pm on Thursday.
Police officers arrived to find two heavily damaged vehicles at the scene. The Hollywood star, who is the daughter of legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling and his second wife Candy, and her seven young passengers were all taken to the emergency room in three separate ambulances, where they were treated for cuts, contusions and concussion. No arrests were made at the scene, but an investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
Celebrity news site TMZ obtained an eyewitness video that showed Spelling speaking animatedly with officers as she appeared to recount the crash.
The actress shares children Liam, 19, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, nine, with ex-husband Dean McDermott. The couple married in 2006 but divorced in November 2025.
Spelling was previously caught up in road drama back in 2011 when she accused snappers of causing an accident as they followed her on the school run.
"Paparazzi chased me with the kids to school. I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school," she posted on social media.
At the time, she was pregnant with her third child, daughter Hattie, and she said other mothers stepped in to help by "chasing him away".
Later that year, she had another incident with paparazzi just weeks after she gave birth on October 10, 2011. On October 30, she checked into Tarzana Medical Center in California after complaining about week-long headache pains.
She subsequently revealed she was suffering from migraines. She had hoped to keep the issues to herself, but said the unwelcome presence of snappers forced her to reassure fans and followers that she was okay.
"I never intended to have to tell peeps I had to go to ER yesterday for migraine but paparazzi followed us and told (the) story," she posted on social media at the time.
"All-time low. Following a sick new mom to hospital and photographing her. Is nothing off limits to them, compassion-wise? But I'm doing better now. Thanks for all your concern."
