The 11th match of the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) is expected to be very exciting as it is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). This match is being held on 5th April at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. In this match, Chennai won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Let us tell you that CSK has lost both its opening matches. At the same time, RCB will take the field to play its second match of the league after a week’s break. Bengaluru won its first match against SRH. Therefore, Bengaluru will try to take advantage of this break to win. On the other hand, CSK will aim to get back their winning streak by defeating RCB in this match.
After winning the toss, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad said, ‘MS Dhoni is making a comeback slowly, sometimes it takes some time. If he is ready to play, he will be seen soon. Let us tell you that CSK had already given an update regarding MS Dhoni. The team said, ‘Dhoni is currently undergoing rehab to recover from calf strain (shin injury). For this reason he may miss the first two weeks of IPL 2026.
All eyes will be on RCB fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. If he takes one wicket in this match, he will become the first fast bowler to touch the mark of 200 wickets in IPL. Till now no fast bowler has done this feat. However, the only bowler to take 200 wickets in IPL is Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal has taken 224 wickets in 176 IPL matches so far.
