Oil India Limited has created a new record in crude oil production in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan. Bagewala field of Bikaner-Nagaur is now producing 1,202 barrels per day, which is about 70% more than last year. A total of 43,773 metric tons of oil was produced in 2025-26.
