Why Was a Revised Answer Key Necessary?

The previously released Answer Key contained answers for only a limited number of subjects. Furthermore, several candidates claimed that incorrect answers had been provided for certain questions. After a student filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, the Court directed the NTA to re-examine these questions. Subsequently, the NTA reviewed all objections and has now released the new, revised Answer Key.

Which Subject Saw the Most Changes?

The most significant changes have been made in the History subject. In this subject, four questions have been completely dropped, and for three questions, two options are now considered to be the correct answers. These changes were implemented following objections raised by students. Since over 60,000 candidates appeared for this subject, these changes are expected to impact a large number of students. Additionally, some modifications have also been made to the Commerce paper. In this key, 3 questions have been removed, and two correct answers have been validated for 1 question. This examination was conducted on January 3rd during the first shift.

In which subjects were no changes made?

The NTA has not made any changes in certain subjects, such as Economics, Education, and Hindi. The answer keys for these subjects will remain unchanged.
