Reliance Jio has introduced a new ₹339 plan for its prepaid users, offering a slightly more affordable alternative to the existing ₹349 plan. This plan is specifically designed for individuals who prefer not to spend a large amount monthly but still require essential services.
Under this plan, users enjoy unlimited voice calling across all networks. Additionally, the plan includes an allocation of 100 SMS per day. In terms of data, it provides 1.5GB of data per day. Once the daily data limit is exhausted, the internet speed drops to 64Kbps—a standard feature common to most prepaid plans.
The most distinctive feature of this plan is its validity period. While most plans typically last for 28 days, this plan offers validity for a full calendar month. This means that if you recharge on the 10th of the month, the plan will remain active until the 10th of the following month. This feature can prove to be highly convenient for many users.
Furthermore, the plan includes several additional benefits. Users gain access to JioTV and JioCloud services. It also comes with a subscription to Google Gemini Pro, which includes cloud storage and AI-powered features.
However, there is a minor condition attached. To continue utilizing the benefits of Gemini Pro, you must remain active on a plan priced at ₹299 or higher that offers a minimum daily data allowance of 1.5GB. If you switch to a lower-priced plan, access to this feature may be discontinued.
When compared to the ₹349 plan, the latter offers 2GB of data per day, whereas this plan provides 1.5GB. Therefore, if your daily data consumption is high, the ₹349 plan might be a better choice. The ₹339 plan is best suited for users with basic usage requirements who are looking to save a little money each month.
