One thing is clear from looking at ISRAEL US IRAN War that war is fought not only with weapons but with many other things. A lot of use of technology and AI was seen in the Middle East war and now discussion has started about a new device. This device has been helping the military for a long time. In fact, recently Iran had shot down an American F-15E fighter plane, after which America conducted a rescue operation to save the pilot. But do you know how the US successfully completed this operation?
From the moment the US F-15E Strike Eagle Navigator landed in enemy territory in southwestern Iran, the pilot had to fight hard to survive every second. Hidden alone for two days, the pilot had a small device that quietly worked to keep him connected. The name of the device which helped the US and American pilots during this entire operation is Combat Survivor Evader Locator aka CSEL.
This small device named Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) weighed only 800 grams, but it played a huge role during the war. It sent encrypted signals through satellite, through which messages like location were shared. Even during parachuting, it remained connected and working. Its signals changed frequency rapidly, making them difficult to identify.
This device has been made to survive even in difficult conditions. Its specialty is that this device can work even under water up to 10 meters and its standby battery life is 21 days. As the navigator sent updates and remained in the safe zone, rescue helicopters finally arrived. Then the device locked the pilot's position and the military satellite sent the data to the command center. With this accurate information, the team was able to safely locate and rescue the US airman.
