MP Police Constable (Band) Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: To apply for the post of MP Police Constable (Band), candidates must have passed the 10th-grade examination under the 10+2 system, the Higher Secondary (12th-grade) examination, or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) may apply if they have passed the 8th-grade examination or an equivalent examination. No relaxation will be granted regarding the prescribed educational qualifications.
Age Limit: As of April 19, 2026, the candidate must have completed a minimum age of 18 years and must not exceed the maximum prescribed age limit. For male candidates belonging to the Unreserved category, EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), and candidates from other states, the maximum permissible age is 33 years. Conversely, for candidates belonging to Reserved categories—specifically SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), and OBC (Other Backward Classes)—the maximum age limit is 38 years.
