On April 5, Rashmika Mandanna marked her 30th birthday, celebrating it privately for the first time as Mrs. Deverakonda. The actress, accompanied by her husband Vijay Deverakonda and her in-laws, returned to her roots in Coorg. The day was spent visiting a temple with her family, and photos capturing the joyous occasion quickly spread across social media. Alongside Rashmika and Vijay's parents, their extended family was also present. Reports indicate that the couple hosted a reception in Coorg, following their Hyderabad celebration in March, which took place shortly after their intimate wedding in February.
On Sunday, Rashmika and Vijay were spotted at the Padi Sri Igguthappa Temple in Coorg, surrounded by family. Rashmika donned a simple saree paired with a printed blouse, while Vijay opted for a white outfit. The couple sat together, receiving blessings from their elders, and took photos with their family members.
Viral images and videos showcased the couple's intimate wedding reception held in Coorg on Monday. Rashmika wore a traditional Kodava-style saree, while Vijay was dressed in a formal suit. The event was attended by family, locals, and nearby relatives.
Following the wedding festivities, Rashmika and Vijay resumed filming for Ranabaali in March, marking their first project together post-marriage. They portray a couple in the film directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The first song from the movie, Endhayya Saami, was released after their wedding. Vijay stars as the titular character Ranabaali, while Rashmika plays Jayamma. This pan-India film is set to release in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, on September 11. The couple previously collaborated on Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, where they began dating during the latter's production. Vijay shared a sneak peek of Rashmika as Jayamma on Instagram, expressing his love with the caption, “I love you.”
In addition to Ranabaali, Rashmika is also working on Mysaa, an action thriller centered around a female lead. She is balancing two significant projects and will soon begin promoting Cocktail 2, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, which is set to release on June 19. The first song from this romantic comedy, titled Jab Talak, will debut on social media this week, having initially premiered in theaters during the paid previews of Dhurandhar 2 on March 18.
