OnePlus 16 Camera: Leaks related to this upcoming phone of OnePlus have been making headlines for months. This upgraded version of OnePlus 15, which came last year, will have great features, recently it was revealed that this device will have thinner bezels compared to the previous model. Now a tipster has claimed that this phone will also have an upgraded periscope camera with 200 megapixel Samsung sensor. Recall that the rear of OnePlus 15 has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera in which Samsung JN5 sensor is available.
In a post on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, tipster Smart Pikachu has claimed that the rear of OnePlus 16 will have a 200-megapixel camera sensor which was also seen in Realme phones earlier. The tipster has not given any other information apart from this, but Gizmochina reports that the phone will have a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 periscope sensor, which is also in the Realme 16 Pro series and Realme GT 8 Pro.
Recently a report came out in which it was mentioned that OnePlus 16 will be launched at the end of the year. Apart from this, it was also told that the phone will be equipped with 200 megapixel periscope telephoto, 50 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel multispectral sensor to improve color accuracy and image quality.
If this is true, then this handset will be much better than the 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera of OnePlus 15, which offers 3.5x optical zoom, 80mm focal length, 7x optical quality zoom and 30 degree field of view and autofocus. Reports also suggest that the OnePlus 16 will have Qualcomm's unreleased Snapdragon 8 Elite Generation 6 chipset for speed and multitasking. A powerful battery of 9000 mAh can also be provided in the phone.
