Shillong: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has released the list of the top 20 candidates for the 2026 SSLC Class 10 examination, with students from Shillong and Tura securing the top three positions. Candidates can check their results on the official board website at megresults.nic.in.

Wangal Lama from Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School in Shillong topped the list with an impressive score of 585 marks. Following him, Vishal Kumar from Ambi Rosebud Higher Secondary School in Tura secured the second position with 576 marks, while Prajukt Roy from Seven Set Higher Secondary School in Shillong and Pechon A Sangma Memorial Police Public Secondary School in Tura both achieved 575 marks.

The highest score among the top 20 candidates is 585, while the lowest is 555. Out of a total of 48,623 students, 42,228 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 86.84%. To view the Meghalaya Class 10 results for 2026, students need to enter their examination roll number.

Students can also access their Class 10 results through the official MBOSE website. To do this, visit mbose.in and click on the 'Results' or 'Class 10 Results 2026' link available on the homepage. Then, enter your roll number as mentioned on your admit card along with your 9-digit roll code (starting with a specified letter). After completing the captcha verification, click the 'Submit' button. The results will be displayed on the screen, showing subject-wise marks, total obtained marks, grade or division, and pass or fail status.

You can also check your results through SMS. Open your mobile phone's message box, type MBOSE10 followed by your roll number, and send it to 56263. After sending the SMS, your result will be delivered directly to your phone via message.
