ISLAMABAD: Dr Fazeela Abbasi, sister of actor Hamza Ali Abbasi and popular TikToker, has been granted interim pre-arrest bail in a case concerning the operation of an allegedly illegal clinic. The decision was made on Monday by Special Judge Islamabad Central Humayun Dilaware.

Dr Abbasi appeared in court with her lawyer, Naeem Bukhari, and requested pre-arrest bail. The court accepted her plea and granted bail against a surety bond of Rs50,000, while directing her to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation. The next hearing has been scheduled for April 15.

The dermatologist is currently under investigation in two cases registered by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), both to the alleged illegal clinic. She is also on bail in a separate money laundering case, for which the Islamabad High Court restored her bail and instructed her to approach the trial court for further proceedings.

Earlier, Dr Abbasi’s previous pre-arrest bail request was dismissed by the special court due to her non-appearance. The court had rejected her plea on medical grounds, describing it as an attempt to misuse the pre-arrest bail provisions. She then approached the Islamabad High Court, which granted her interim relief and allowed her to seek medical assistance before trial proceedings continued.
