Iran said that it is ready to stop its military response if attacks against it are stopped. In a statement by Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, he said that this comes as talks are going on with help from Pakistan and the United States.

Tehran, April 8: US President Donald Trump on Wednesday agreed for a 14-day ceasefire with Iran after talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir. Iran also agreed for the ceasefire and has thanked the Pakistan Prime Minister and Field Marshal for their efforts to end war.

Iran said that it is ready to stop its military response if attacks against it are stopped. In a statement by Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, he said that this comes as talks are going on with help from Pakistan and the United States. He also said there will be a two-week period during which ships can safely pass through the Strait of Hormuz with proper coordination.
