Why haven't prices decreased?

Despite the sharp decline in crude oil prices, no changes are being observed in domestic LPG prices today because these rates are typically revised on the first day of every month. LPG prices are determined based on the strength of the Rupee against the Dollar and the LPG rates set by 'Saudi Aramco' in international markets.

Amidst the rising LPG prices, the government is providing a subsidy of ₹300 per cylinder directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), thereby offering them some relief from the prices in various cities, such as Delhi.
