Public sector Indian Bank has announced recruitment for various posts of Specialist Officer (Indian Bank Recruitment 2026). For which the application process has started. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 to fill the form. The application fee for SC/ST/PwBD candidates is Rs 175. Number of vacancies: Total 250 posts are vacant. There are 75 vacancies for Scale-III Officer, 260 for Scale-II and 15 for Scale-I. Candidates will be appointed to the posts of Manager, Senior Manager and Assistant Manager.

Who can fill the form?

Qualification has been prescribed differently for different posts. For IT post, candidates should have B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA or any IT degree. For Finance/Credit Officer posts, it is mandatory to have MBA (Finance)/CA/CFA qualification along with graduation. For marketing, one should have MBA/PGDM qualification along with graduation.

For engineering posts, it is mandatory for candidates to have a degree in Civil/Architecture. Whereas for security cadre, along with being a graduate, it is necessary to have defense or police background. For Manager Scale-2, it is mandatory for the candidates to have 2 to 3 years of experience. For Scale 3, it is mandatory to have experience of 3 years to 5 years and for Assistant Manager, it is mandatory to have experience of one year to 2 years.

age limit

The prescribed age limit of the candidates for Assistant Manager Scale-1 posts is minimum 22 and maximum 32/34 years. The minimum age limit for Manager has been fixed at 23/24 years and maximum at 33/34 years. For Senior Manager Scale-3, minimum age limit should be 26 years and maximum 35/37 years. SC/ST will also be given 5 years relaxation and OBC will be given 3 years relaxation.

selection process

First of all the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of information entered in the application. After this a written examination or interview will be conducted. The written examination will be of total 180 marks. In which a total of 120 questions will be asked. It will be divided into 4 sections. 60 questions to professional knowledge will be asked, which will be of total 120 marks. Its duration will be 60 minutes. 20-20 questions to English Language, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude will be asked. There will also be 20-20 minutes time for each subject. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. There will also be a provision of negative marking for wrong answers.

the salary will be this much

After appointment to Scale-1 posts, the salary will range from Rs 48,800 to Rs 85,920. Whereas after appointment to Scale-II posts, the salary will range from Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960. After appointment to Scale-III posts, salary will range from Rs 85,920 to Rs 1,05,280. You will also get the benefits of DA, HRA and many other facilities.
