CRPF Recruitment 2026: The CRPF has issued a recruitment notification for 9,195 Constable posts. Candidates who have passed the 10th grade can apply via the official website, rect.crpf.gov.in, starting from April 20.

The CRPF has announced a major recruitment drive for Constable posts (Technical, Tradesman, and Pioneer categories). A total of 9,195 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. This presents an excellent opportunity for candidates aspiring to secure a government job. The application process will be conducted online, commencing on April 20 and concluding on May 19, 2026.

To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed at least the 10th grade. For certain specific posts—such as Driver and Mechanic—an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or prior experience is also required. For other Tradesman posts, candidates are expected to possess proficiency in their respective trades.

For the Driver post, candidates must be between 21 and 27 years of age. For all other posts, the prescribed age limit is 18 to 23 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories—such as SC/ST and OBC—will be granted age relaxations of 5 years and 3 years, respectively. Ex-servicemen will also be eligible for age relaxation in accordance with applicable rules.

Male candidates are required to meet a minimum height standard of 170 cm, while the minimum height requirement for female candidates is 157 cm. For male candidates, a chest measurement of 80 cm is mandatory, with an expansion capacity of 5 cm. Regarding the physical endurance test (running), for certain posts, male candidates must complete a 5 km run within 24 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 1.6 km run within 8.5 minutes.

For this recruitment drive, male candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹100. Conversely, the application process is entirely free of cost for candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories, as well as for all female candidates and ex-servicemen.

The selection process for this recruitment will be conducted in multiple stages. The initial stage will consist of a Physical Test (PET/PST). This will be followed by a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a Trade Test, document verification, and a medical examination. The final merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in the CBT.

To apply, candidates must first visit the official CRPF website at rect.crpf.gov.in. They will need to register there and subsequently fill out the application form. While filling out the form, ensure that all necessary information is entered accurately and that the required documents are uploaded. Thereafter, pay the application fee, submit the form, and retain a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
