Rewa Crime News: A disturbing incident has emerged from PM Shri Model Science College in Rewa, where a guest faculty member has been accused of sending lewd messages and harassing a student. Amit Sahu, a teacher in the Geography department, reportedly pressured a first-year BA student via WhatsApp, not only sending inappropriate messages but also urging her to come to his room. Following significant uproar and complaints, the college administration has terminated the teacher's services.
According to reports, Amit Sahu, who hails from Sagar, had been teaching Geography at the college for the past year. He had been attempting to engage in personal conversations with the student for some time. Over the last month, his behavior escalated, culminating in a WhatsApp message that read, 'I like you, come to my room.'
When the student resisted and refused to comply, the teacher began to indirectly threaten her regarding her career and studies. He messaged her, saying, 'I don’t want you to face any trouble; think it over and let me know if you want to.'

‘Delete the messages, or else…’
When the student finally mustered the courage to report the harassment, instead of acknowledging his wrongdoing, the accused teacher attempted to intimidate her further. He warned her, 'You have broken my trust. Don’t tell anyone and delete all the messages, or the consequences won’t be good.' However, the student remained undeterred, preserving screenshots of the messages as evidence and informing her family and the college administration.
As news of the incident spread, students at the college expressed their outrage. On Wednesday, a large group of students protested on campus, demanding the dismissal of the accused teacher. In response to the mounting pressure, the college administration formed an inquiry committee. When presented with the evidence, Amit Sahu admitted to his wrongdoing and issued a written apology. Given the seriousness of the situation, the college administration promptly removed him from his position.
