“AI Saksham Shiksha Abhiyan” has been launched to promote AI based education in Chhattisgarh. Under this initiative started from Raipur, 2 lakh teachers will be given AI training and certification, which will make the education system modern and effective.

Raipur. In Chhattisgarh, a big step has been taken towards connecting education with future technologies. An important initiative to promote Artificial Intelligence (AI) based innovations has been launched in the state, which aims to make the education system modern and effective.

Important meeting of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Google India officials

Head of Google for Education India, Mr. Sanjay Jain and Head of Public Policy, Google India, Mr. Rakesh Ranjan met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at the Chief Minister's residence office in the capital Raipur. During this, the Chief Minister honored both the guests traditionally and presented them a shawl and a replica of Bastar art.

'AI enabled education campaign' will start from Raipur

Mr. Sanjay Jain, Head of Google for Education India, informed that “AI Enabled Education Campaign” has been started under the Letter of Intent (LOI) signed between Raipur District Administration and Google. Through this campaign, Artificial Intelligence based technologies and innovations will be implemented in school education.

Teachers will get training from 'Saksham Shikshak Abhiyan'

Under this initiative, 'Saksham Shikshak Abhiyan' will be run, in which teachers will be trained in modern digital tools and AI based teaching methods. The first phase will start from Raipur district, after which it will be implemented in the entire state.

2 lakh teachers will get AI certification

Under this program, a target has been set to give AI certification to more than 2 lakh teachers. Google for Education will make its digital platform available free of cost, so that teachers can be made technically strong.

Special workshops will start with 200 teachers

In the initial phase, special workshops will be organized with the participation of 200 teachers. These workshops will provide practical training on Google's tools and focus on effective use of AI in the classroom. Also, there will be a special emphasis on improving the learning outcomes of students.

Government's focus on making education technology-enabled

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the state government is making continuous efforts to make the education system technology-enabled and innovation-based as per the future needs. He said that connecting modern technologies like AI with education is an important step towards making students globally competitive.

New age skills will develop in students

The Chief Minister said that this initiative will not only improve the quality of teaching but will also develop new age skills among the students. These skills will prepare them to face future challenges.

'AI enabled education campaign' will be transformative

The Chief Minister said that this campaign will prove to be transformative for both teachers and students. By empowering teachers with AI based training and digital resources, classroom teaching can be made more effective and result oriented.

National Education Policy 2020 and initiatives related to Digital India

He said that the aim of the state government is to make Chhattisgarh a technologically strong and knowledge-based state. This initiative is in line with the National Education Policy 2020 and the vision of Digital India, which aims to develop a modern and tech-enabled education system.
