In the first match of the day, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Hockey triumphed over Hockey Chandigarh with a score of 2-1. The team's captain, Dhiraj Pal, netted two goals at the 27th and 42nd minutes, while Jasmeet Singh scored for Hockey Chandigarh in the 59th minute.
