Following the blockbuster success of Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor is yet to officially announce her next project, but a new update hints at what could be on the horizon. While Stree 3 is currently in the writing stage, reports suggest that she has been approached for another ambitious venture.
Director Amar Kaushik and Maddock Films are said to be keen on casting Shraddha as the female lead in Mahavatar. The film, envisioned as a mythological epic, will feature Vicky Kaushal in the role of Parashurama, making it a potentially exciting new pairing on screen.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time a big name has been linked to Mahavatar. Back in December, Deepika Padukone was also reportedly in consideration to star opposite Vicky Kaushal.
According to the report, “The team has been looking for someone who can bring gravitas and emotional depth to the role written opposite Parashurama. Deepika fits that space perfectly. Conversations have begun, but they are still at an early stage. She is among the top names the studio has engaged with.”
If Shraddha Kapoor comes on board, it would mark yet another collaboration with Maddock Films. She is already a key face of the banner’s Stree universe and is also leading their upcoming film Eetha.

This would be her fifth project with Maddock and her first on-screen pairing with Vicky Kaushal, if finalised. She is also expected to return for Stree 3. While an official confirmation is still awaited, the prospect of a fresh pairing between Vicky and Shraddha has already piqued audience curiosity.
Meanwhile, Maddock Films, the production house behind Mahavatar, is working on different titles which include three of the most anticipated projects of the horror comedy universe.
Producer Dinesh Vijan is gearing up for Bhediya 2 starring Varun Dhawan, Shakti Shalini featuring Aneet Padda, and Stree 3 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles.
