Pokémon Go and Major League Baseball (MLB) are back in collaboration once again for the 2026 season. With this collaboration, the AR/VR mobile game brings in-game features to MLB stadiums across the US. As part of the rollout, all MLB ballparks will include Official Routes, along with club-branded PokéStops and Gyms, allowing players to engage with the game from their seats. The update follows a similar collaboration last year and introduces themed game days, limited-time rewards and in-stadium gameplay features tied to specific matches scheduled through the season.

In a blog post, The Pokémon Company wrote, “Time to start warming up, Trainers—we’re excited to announce the collaboration between Pokémon GO and Major League Baseball is back for the 2026 season!”

Pokémon Go, MLB collaboration: Raids, rewards, themed game features and everything else we know so far

During Pokémon Go–themed games, players can take part in special in-stadium activities, including raids, research tasks and item rewards. One-star raids will feature Pikachu, with chances to encounter a Shiny version or one with a Location Background.

Lure Modules activated at PokéStops inside stadiums will last for one hour and may attract Pokémon such as Abra, Machop and Cubone, while Snorlax and Passimian may also appear.

Timed Research will be available upon entering the ballpark, offering rewards such as Stardust, XP, Lure Modules and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. The tasks must be completed before September 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Players can also access Field Research tasks by spinning PokéStops at the venue, earning items like Stardust and Ultra Balls. In addition, exclusive avatar items themed around MLB teams will be available from April 22 to September 30, 2026, by spinning PokéStops during themed games.

The collaboration will also include club-branded merchandise featuring Pokémon GO teams such as Team Instinct, Team Mystic and Team Valor, with availability depending on the club and ticket packages.

  • Milwaukee Brewers — June 17
  • Cleveland Guardians — July 2
