West Bengal Elections: PM Modi roared in Katwa, said – Bengal will change on May 4, will release white paper on TMC’s corruption

Addressing a huge public meeting held in Katwa in East Burdwan district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed major political changes in the state. He said that after May 4, a “new era” will begin in Bengal and the public is completely ready for change. Regarding the crowd gathered at the public meeting, PM Modi said that the kind of public support he is getting in West Bengal, he had never felt before even in his home state Gujarat. He said that this excitement and enthusiasm is a clear indication of the upcoming election results. Appealing to the people to vote in large numbers, he said that this election will symbolize the “victory of trust over fear”.

Corruption has taken root in 14 years – PM Modi

In his speech, the Prime Minister also fiercely targeted the current government of the state. He alleged that corruption has taken deep roots in the last 15 years. PM Modi announced that if the Bharatiya Janata Party forms the government in the state, a detailed white paper will be released to investigate alleged corruption. He said that in this document the complete account of corruption at every level will be placed before the public. PM Modi also made a big promise regarding health facilities. He said that after the formation of the BJP government, a proposal to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme will be passed in the very first cabinet meeting. He said that through this scheme, poor and needy people will be able to get better and affordable health services, which will provide relief to lakhs of families.

Also attacked infiltrators and fake documents

Apart from this, the Prime Minister also showed a strict stance on the issue of infiltration and fake documents. He said that if the new government is formed, strict action will be taken against illegal infiltrators. Besides, legal action will also be taken against those people who have helped them settle in the state by making fake identity cards. PM Modi said that this election is not just about changing the government, but about securing the future of Bengal. He appealed to the public to vote for development, transparency and good governance.

Voting on 23rd and 29th, results will come on 4th May

It is noteworthy that the assembly elections in West Bengal are to be held in two phases on 23rd and 29th April, while the counting of votes will be done on 4th May. Amidst the election atmosphere, all political parties are putting in their full strength. In such a situation, this rally of Katwa and the statements of PM Modi are creating a new stir in the politics of the state.
