Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer an amount of more than Rs 1836 crore to the accounts of more than 1 crore 25 lakh Ladli sisters from a program organized at Ashta in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday (12 April 2026). Earlier on March 13, 2026, the 34th installment was released from Gwalior district. In this program, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate and perform Bhoomi Pujan of development and construction works costing Rs 184 crore 92 lakh. These works include inauguration of works worth Rs 115 crore 32 lakh and bhoomi pujan of works worth Rs 69 crore 60 lakh.
Ladli Brahmin Yojana was started in May 2023
Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is an important scheme being run for the women of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, more than 1 crore eligible women are given Rs 1500-1500 every month. Ladli Behna Yojana was launched by the Madhya Pradesh government in May 2023. Its objective is to empower women economically, strengthen their decision-making rights in the family and ensure sustainable improvement in health and nutrition levels. Let us tell you that till now an amount of more than Rs 52,304 crore has been given to the sisters under the scheme.
Currently you get Rs 1500 per month
The first installment of the scheme was released on 10 June 2023. Initially, financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month was provided, which was increased to Rs 1,250 in October 2023. After this, the amount was again increased by Rs 250 from November 2025, after which the amount increased from Rs 1250 to Rs 1500. At present, general beneficiary women are given Rs 1500 per month (Rs 18000 annually). Women receiving social security pension get Rs 900 per month. This amount is deposited directly into the Aadhaar linked bank account (DBT) of the woman. Apart from this, a special assistance amount of Rs 250 was also provided to the sisters on the occasion of Rakshabandhan in August 2023, 2024 and 2025.
