Rajpal Yadav on Om Shanti Om: Just imagine, after years you come to know that there was a role for you in some Shahrukh Khan film, but that role went out of your hands because someone else had said on his behalf that you do not want to do that role. So obviously you will feel bad. A similar incident had happened with Rajpal Yajav. Now Rajpal Yadav has told this strange story of Bollywood in front of everyone. She revealed that due to a misunderstanding, she lost a role in the film 'Om Shanti Om', whereas Shahrukh Khan himself wanted to cast her in the film.

Rajpal shared an old incident that happened to him during the promotion of 'Bhoot Bangla'. Rajpal Yadav told that he was going to get a role in Shahrukh Khan's 'Om Shanti Om'. But due to a misunderstanding this project was lost from his hands. He came to know this truth much later, when he was shooting for the film 'Billu'. Then he realized that without his knowledge the role had slipped away from him. After this there was no heated argument or fight, rather an open and candid conversation took place between the two artists. This conversation cleared up all the misunderstandings, about which both the artists had no knowledge.

Om Shanti Om came out of hand

Rajpal said that on the Billu sets he was told that Shahrukh wanted to meet him because a role in 'Om Shanti Om' was written only for him. Recalling this incident, Rajpal Yadav said, “That role was written for me and someone rejected it saying that I did not have time.” This was a new thing for Rajpal Yadav. Rajpal said that when he asked his managers, none of them had any idea that this was forbidden. Then he told what he thought happened behind the scenes. The actor said, "I found out that someone there had complained and presented my picture in a different way for 'Om Shanti Om'. I and SRK did not know about this."
