Meghan Markle may have just put the final nail in the coffin when it comes to her position in Hollywood after she appeared to snub the star of the show at Netflix's BEEF season two premiere. Upon first glance, it looks like Meghan, pictured above, was just wearing an olive green dress, but it turns out it all runs a lot deeper than that, and it's got onlookers furious; I can completely see why. On Friday evening, Meghan attended the event in a seemingly desperate bid to make it clear that her relationship with Netflix is fine, but instead she made another social blow after showing up in a dress that was the same colour as the woman who was being celebrated at the event, Carey Mulligan.

Most people who had attended the event stuck to subtle tones and a black and white dress code, but shock horror, Markle decided to show up in green, making her one of two people dressed in the shade -- herself, and the star of the show. It's not a colour Meghan would typically wear, and I can't look past the fact that the majority of attendees were dressed in black. So why the olive, Meghan?

It actually makes the whole thing look so much worse when you look at the image of a group of people wearing black while Carey is standing out. This is one of those things where the coincidence is almost too big. People have had more than enough to say online, with one user writing on X: "I'll bet Meghan Markle breaking the guest dress code and trying to upstage by wearing the same colour as the [guest of honour] didn't do her any favours. So gauche and tacky."

While another wrote: "What's funny is Meghan almost always dresses in a shade of beige until this party where there was a clear neutral dress code for guests so the [guest of honour] Carey Mulligen could stand out in HER chartreuse dress. Main character syndrome strikes again. Meghan Markle should be ashamed."

A third said: "Why is Meghan Markle not wearing the dress code? She looks effin ridiculous trying to outshine Carey Mulligan. D-list mentality." And not a single person uttered something inaccurate.

This feels like such an embarrassing low for Markle, and it just proves that she doesn't deserve a spot at these Hollywood events, she's never been one to listen to a dress code, but this is just taking it too far. Does she just think she's above it? I wouldn't be surprised if this got Meghan an automatic rejection for any future events, because it's just downright offensive.

Honestly, wearing the one colour that the guest of honour was going to show up in is just as bad as wearing white to someone else's wedding; there are rules and you just don't do it. But shock horror, Meghan thinks that because she's a Duchess it means she can do what she likes, but with her popularity continuing to plummet, this is just not a good look for her.

She needs to be banned from Hollywood events, her Netflix shows have already failed, her bid to become some kind of merge between an A-lister and a Royal has been embarrassing, it's time to either return to the UK with her tail in between her legs, or live that private life she oh so desperately wanted.
