Redmi A7 Pro 5G launched in India with 32MP AI camera, goes on sale starting today

Redmi A7 Pro 5G is now available in India. The smartphone was launched in the country earlier this week and has now gone on sale. Redmi A7 Pro 5G is the company’s first Pro model under A-series. It comes with a 6.9-inch display and boasts of a 6,300mAh battery. The handset is equipped with a 32MP AI dual camera on the back and offers support for HDR images. The device is backed by a 6,300mAh battery and comes with reverse charging support as well. “As the first Pro model in the REDMI A Series, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G combines capable hardware and intuitive software to deliver a reliable smartphone experience at an accessible price,” the company said in a press release.

Redmi A7 Pro 5G comes with a starting price of Rs 12,499 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Another model ships with 128GB storage and is priced at Rs 13,499. As part of the launch offer, Xiaomi is giving Rs 1,000 off on the phone’s purchase bringing down its price to Rs 11,499 (base price).
Additionally, consumers can avail up to 3 months of no-cost EMI on purchase. The Redmi A7 Pro 5G will be available in Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange colour variants. It is available across Amazon India, Mi.com, and offline retail stores across the country.

Redmi A7 Pro 5G comes with a large 6.9-inch display, which the company claims is the biggest in its segment. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and viewing. It also offers up to 800 nits brightness, making it easier to use outdoors. The phone includes Wet Touch Technology, which allows the screen to respond even with wet or oily fingers. It also features TÜV Rheinland eye-comfort certification and DC dimming to reduce eye strain during long use.

The smartphone packs a 6,300mAh battery, which is among the largest in its category. It supports 15W charging and also offers 7.5W reverse wired charging. Despite the large battery, the device is designed to remain slim.
Redmi A7 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core 5G processor, aimed at handling everyday tasks smoothly. The phone also supports virtual RAM expansion of up to 8GB, which helps with multitasking.
