'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' 15th April written update: Myra's clash with Meher leads to a shocking turn

The recent episode of ' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai ' kicks off with Arman telling Abhira to stay in the car because she is weak and unwell. Abhira refuses to hear any of it. She tells Arman she is strong for her daughters and then asks him a straight question that stops him cold. She wants to know whether he plans to deal with Meher or actually step up and protect their daughters.
Kaveri cannot stay calmAt the Poddar house, Kaveri is desperate to leave and get to the girls. Sanjay tries to stop everyone, saying there is no point in all of them going. Tanya and Aryan are not willing to sit back in fear of Meher and want to rush to protect Myra and Mukti. Manisha tries to reassure everyone by saying Myra is smart enough to take care of herself. But Kaveri is not reassured. She is worried about both Myra and Mukti and cannot pretend otherwise.
The girls try to outsmart MeherAt the hostel, Mukti and Myra are hiding from Meher and trying to figure out their next move. Meher finds them quickly and tells Myra to stop wasting time and come back with her. The girls try to buy time by diverting Meher so they can make a run for it. Mukti steps up and tells Myra she will distract Meher while Myra escapes through the window.
Arman and Abhira search the hostelArman and Abhira have reached the hostel by this point and are moving through it with the matron and a guard, trying to find Myra and Mukti before things get worse. But Meher gets to Myra first. She corners Myra and tells her to stop trying to escape. Myra does not back down. She calls Meher a murderer and says Meher deserves to be punished for killing Mukti's father. In a moment of raw anger, Myra says that Meher should have been the one to go instead of Mukti's father.
Meher falls down the stairsThe driver, who is injured at this point, urges Arman and Abhira to protect the girls. Arman stops to call an ambulance for himself before pressing forward. Inside the hostel, Myra and Meher are locked in a physical confrontation. Arman and Abhira are trying to reach them, but do not make it in time. Meher falls down the stairs. By the time Arman and Abhira get there, the news hits them hard. Meher is no more. Mittal immediately blames Myra and demands that the police arrest her for what happened to his daughter.
The matron's statement changes everythingThe police question the matron about what happened. The matron tells them that she heard Myra loudly saying Meher should have been the one to go. That statement puts Myra in a very difficult spot. Myra panics and runs. Arman and Abhira go after her. When Arman finally sees Myra, the shock on his face says everything. Myra is taken into juvenile custody. She holds onto Arman and asks him not to leave her, asking him again and again to stay by her side. Arman promises her he will support her no matter what. But as all of this is unfolding, Abhira's health gets noticeably worse. The police formally take Myra in connection with Meher's murder case.
Shock waves hit the Poddar familyThe news reaches the Poddars, and the reaction is immediate and intense. Vidya collapses when she hears what happened. Manisha and Kajal both believe that Myra pushed Meher in a fit of rage. Krish is in visible shock. Tanya's expressions make it clear she is reading something into his reaction. Vidya regains consciousness, and the first thing she says is that she wants to be taken to Myra. Madhav and Kaveri try to convince her to rest, but Vidya refuses to listen and stays firm.
Interrogation roomMyra is taken for interrogation, and Arman goes with her. Abhira is taken to the hospital. Kaveri, Madhav, and Mukti do not leave Abhira's side. Meanwhile, Vidya finds reacts strongly after knowing Abhira's condition.
Inside the interrogation room, Myra struggles hard to keep herself composed. Arman steps in and asks the team to give her a moment. He then turns to Myra and tells her directly that if she wants him to protect her, she has to tell him the complete truth.
