'Bhooth Bangla' is set to hit theaters on April 17, marking a long-awaited collaboration between Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan after 14 years. This horror-comedy, one of the most anticipated films of 2026, features a stellar cast including Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jisshu Sengupta, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu. Akshay Kumar's Salary Adjustment Salary Details

As reported by Koimoi, Akshay Kumar has made a notable adjustment to his salary for 'Bhooth Bangla', prioritizing his return to the horror-comedy genre. He has reportedly accepted a 28.5% pay cut compared to his previous film, 'Jolly LLB 3', where he earned Rs 70 crore. For 'Bhooth Bangla', his fee is Rs 50 crore, making him the highest-paid actor on set by a significant margin.

Despite taking a lower salary, Akshay's earnings still account for nearly 42% of the film's total budget, which is around Rs 120 crore. His willingness to accept a reduced fee may be a strategic move to keep the film's overall costs manageable.


Cast Salary Insights Other Cast Members' Earnings

Additionally, Tabu has also taken a pay cut of 16%, reportedly earning Rs 2.5 crore for her role, down from Rs 3 crore for her previous project, 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha'. Akshay's salary is still significantly higher, being 20 times that of Tabu. Wamiqa Gabbi is believed to have earned Rs 3 crore, surpassing veteran actor Paresh Rawal, who received Rs 2 crore. Jisshu Sengupta's fee was Rs 1 crore, while Rajpal Yadav earned between Rs 1-1.5 crore, according to the same report.
