A scholarship distribution ceremony was organized on Wednesday under the aegis of Swami Keshavanand Smriti Charitable Trust at Gramottan Vidyapeeth located in Sangaria. On this occasion, meritorious and needy students were encouraged by providing them scholarships.

Dr. B.S. of Verma Hospital and Ultrasound Centre, Bhadra participated in the ceremony. Verma was present as the chief guest. He distributed scholarships and awards to the students and wished them a bright future.

In his address, Dr. B.S. Verma inspired the students to adopt the educational philosophy and rural development ideas of Swami Kesavanand Ji. He said that education is the most powerful medium for the upliftment of the society and the objective of the Trust is to motivate the talents of rural areas to move forward by providing them financial support.

On this occasion, the officials of the Trust and distinguished citizens also congratulated the students receiving the scholarship. Vidyapeeth family, parents and intelligentsia of the area were present in large numbers in the programme.
