Gemma Collins hinted that she was turning her back on I'm A Celebrity: South Africa after a teary two-word statement that left viewers at home concerned. The reality star quit the original ITV series of the show when she appeared in the Australian jungle in series 14 back in 2014 and lasted a mere three days. Although she has lasted longer than she did the last time she appeared on the show, Gemma has really struggled to deal with the cards she has been dealt in the camp.

On Thursday (April 16), it appeared that it was the final straw for her. At the sneak-peek for Friday night's episode, Gemma warned producers: "I'm A Celebrity get me out of here. I am done." She then appeared to be in tears once again as Scarlett stared at her in shock, leaving viewers confused about what would occur.

Taking to an I'm A Celeb fan Facebook group, one user wrote: "Is it true Gemma has left the jungle?" Prompting people to share their upset if Gemma did make a swift exit. One user wrote: "Oh I hope not, much better this time she makes me laugh." Another wrote: "I hope not, I've warmed to Gemma." A third wrote: "We'll find out tonight."

Others were praising her for being so much better than last time and impressed with her vulnerability. Meanwhile, viewers were also taking to X to discuss Gemma's potential exit. One user wrote: "Hope Gemma doesn't go from that clip! I need misery guys David gone before anyone else in camp!" Another said: "Oh Gemma don't do it!" However, a third questioned whether it would have been shown in the teaser if she was actually going to leave.

Gemma has been far more vulnerable this time around, telling her friend Adam Thomas that she is finding it "hard". She said on Wednesday: "I'm alright, I feel alright mentally, it is just hard. I can't wash properly. I can't have anything nice. Ive got to wash up every f*****g five minutes. I am not used to this. It's not f*****g me."

While she did get on with things, Adam was showing his attempts to cheer her up, and viewers were quick to notice, people went online to praise their budding friendship as the two have become close, allowing Gemma to see the funny side of the struggles she's facing in camp.

Viewers will find out on Friday (April 17) if Gemma's time in camp truly did get too much for her and she decided to leave, or if she's staying after saying that she was "done".
