A beloved Loose Women panellist has shared an exciting ITV programme update following an extended absence.
Presenter and comedian Judi Love appeared on Saturday Kitchen Live, where she spoke about her upcoming tour, All About The Love. The brand-new show will be packed with candid revelations about the struggles of juggling parenthood, career, and everyday life.
However, conversation quickly turned to Loose Women. This follows news that both Loose Women and Lorraine had their annual output reduced to 30 weeks per year amid significant ITV budget cuts announced last year.
Both ITV daytime programmes last aired in early March, and since then Good Morning Britain - which had already been extended by half an hour following Lorraine's scheduling reduction - alongside This Morning have continued broadcasting as usual. At 12:30pm, ITV News airs before game show repeats fill the remainder of the slot ordinarily occupied by Loose Women.
Discussing Loose Women and its anticipated return, Judi said: "I love it. We're back on air in a few weeks, and it's just great. It's not often that you can be in a space with so many amazing women.
"I say it all the time, if I want advice about parenting, about areas to live in, just anything, there's always someone there."
This comes as ITV confirmed the return date for both Lorraine and Loose Women following their scheduled spring hiatus. From Monday 27 April 2026, the Loose Women are back to continue tackling taboos, leading the conversation on some of the biggest topics of the day and of course, lots of lunchtime laughs.
Meanwhile, Lorraine also makes its return on Monday 4 May 2026, delivering your daily fix of showbiz, fashion and health news.
This follows comments previously made by ITV Media and Entertainment Managing Director Kevin Lygo, who stated that the scheduling shake-up, introduced in January, was designed to cut costs amid soaring expenditure while retaining all on-air talent.
He said: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust, as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres.
"These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever.
"Daytime has been a core element of ITV's schedule for over 40 years and these changes will set ITV up to continue to bring viewers award winning news, views and discussion as we enter our eighth decade."
Saturday Kitchen Live continues on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
