They emphasized that no grand jury has returned an indictment and no criminal complaint has been filed, indicating that he is being held under suspicion without formal charges.

The arrest occurred at a property in the Hollywood Hills, previously owned by Sandra Bullock, which was reportedly found in disarray. In a separate incident, a skywriting message seen during the Coachella music festival that read "Celeste is a liar" was initially thought to be related to the case but has since been dismissed as unrelated.
