There is perhaps nothing more beautiful in a woman’s life than motherhood. The experience of being a mother for the second time is even more exciting. This good news can change the weather of the whole family at once. But a lot depends on how the first child sees the matter.

Deepika-Ranveer recently announced the arrival of their second child. Dua shared a picture of the pregnancy kit in her hand and announced the good news. Again Bharti Singh used her first child while sharing about her second motherhood. On the verge of going out to Switzerland, she announced her second motherhood by wearing a t-shirt with the words ‘May Bare Bhaiya Bannawala Hoon’ on her son. It is not only the couple who are happy as a result of such good news. According to parenting experts, this is how children need to bond with their second child from the very beginning. Otherwise there may be problems.

Parents should however:

  • Explain to your children in understandable language. If you ask a question, listen carefully. Answer in a way that he understands. You will see that the sense of responsibility is created in the child.
  • In many small ways, mother may be becoming someone else’s. So try to be closer to the first child. Convince him that his value for the second child is not decreasing that much.
  • Try to convince the first child that he is getting a promotion. Tell him over and over again that he is going to be a grandpa or grandma. In the story book, teach the story of such a grandfather-sister or aunt-sister relationship.
  • Give small responsibilities to children. Before going to the hospital, do your hand-carrying, bag-packing. It will increase his sense of responsibility.

Watch out if the first child develops jealousy towards the second. Explain to him. You will see that the relationship will be beautiful. A child’s mind will become giddy with the joy of having a friend who is not a sibling.
