**What to do after receiving a seat?**
Selected candidates are required to pay the seat acceptance fee within the deadline specified in the allotment letter. If the fee is not paid by the stipulated time, the allotted seat will be cancelled.

**Understanding the 'Freeze' and 'Float' Options**
**If the first-preference choice is allotted:** Candidates may either accept the seat and choose to "Freeze" it, or they may "Decline" it.
**If a lower-preference choice is allotted (2nd–5th preference):** Candidates may choose either "Freeze" or "Float." By choosing "Float," candidates remain eligible to participate in subsequent rounds for a better-preference option.

**Important Rules**
Declining an offer will result in the candidate being ineligible for consideration in any subsequent rounds.
Vacant seats will be offered to other candidates in the subsequent rounds (Rounds 2 through 5).
If a candidate chooses the "Float" option and subsequently secures a higher-preference seat, they will not be required to pay the fee again.

**Refund-Related Rules**
A refund will be granted only if the seat is withdrawn within Rounds 1 or 2.
A processing fee of ₹5,000 will be deducted.
GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL Categories: ₹55,000 Refund
SC/ST/PwD Categories: ₹10,000 Refund
No refund will be granted if the seat is withdrawn during Rounds 3, 4, or 5.
