This comes as good news for young aspirants preparing for government jobs. The Currency Note Press, Nashik—operating under the aegis of the Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL)—has announced recruitment for 534 posts. These vacancies span various categories, and the online application process has already commenced.

A total of 534 positions will be filled through this recruitment drive at the Currency Note Press, ranging from Junior Technicians to Supervisors and various office-related roles. Notably, the highest number of vacancies has been allocated to technical trades, presenting an excellent opportunity for candidates with an ITI or technical background.

In terms of eligibility, candidates ranging from 10th and 12th-grade pass-outs to ITI holders and graduates are eligible to apply. Specific eligibility criteria have been prescribed for each distinct post; therefore, candidates are strongly advised to verify the requirements corresponding to their desired position before applying.

Age limits have also been defined according to the specific posts. The age criteria are set at 18 to 25 years for Junior Technicians, 18 to 28 years for Assistant-level positions, and 18 to 30 years for Supervisor or Officer-level roles. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with applicable government regulations.

Regarding application fees, the fee for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories is expected to range between approximately ₹600 and ₹1,000. Conversely, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are either exempted from the fee or required to pay a reduced amount.

In terms of remuneration, Junior Technicians will receive a salary ranging from approximately ₹18,000 to ₹67,000; Office Assistants will receive between ₹21,000 and ₹77,000; and Supervisors will receive between ₹27,000 and ₹95,000.
