Former CM and National President of Janata Dal United (JDU) Nitish Kumar has released the list of office bearers of his National Executive. The important thing is that the name of Nitish Kumar's son Nishant is nowhere in it. Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha has again been made the national working president of the party. According to the notification issued by the party, Nitish Kumar is the president of the party. Whereas Sanjay Kumar Jha has been made the national working president.
Apart from this, 12 big leaders of the party have been made general secretaries. These include the names of Manish Kumar Verma, Afaq Ahmed Khan, Shyam Rajak, Ashok Chaudhary, Ramesh Singh Kushwaha, Ramsevak Singh, Kahkashan Praveen, Kapil Harishchandra Patil, Raj Singh Mann, Sunil Kumar alias Engineer Sunil, Harshvardhan Singh and Maulana Ghulam Rasool Baliyavi.
Rajiv Ranjan Prasad has been made the secretary and spokesperson of the party. While Ravindra Prasad Singh, Vidyasagar Nishad, Dayashankar Rai, Sanjay Kumar, Mohammad Nisar, Ruby Lagoon and Nivedita Kumari have been appointed secretaries of the party. JDU MP from Gopalganj Dr. Alok Kumar Suman has been made the treasurer of the party.
The thing to be noted in this list is that whereas earlier there were three National Vice Presidents in the party, now there is only one National Vice President. Former MP from Jehanabad, Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi has got the responsibility of National Vice President. Whereas in this list, in place of Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, who was the National Vice President, now Ramesh Singh Kushwaha has been made the General Secretary.
Whereas former CM Nitish Kumar's Nishant Kumar, who joined JDU a few days ago, has not found a place in this list. Another Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, who did not make it to the list, can be made a minister this time in the upcoming proposed cabinet expansion of the Samrat government.
