JHTET 2026: If you aspire to become a teacher, the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026 is a crucial examination for you. This is a state-level examination; only after passing it can you apply for teaching positions in government schools across Jharkhand. The application process for JHTET commenced on April 21, 2026.

Additionally, the syllabus for this examination has also been released. Candidates can apply by visiting the official JAC website: jacexamportal.in. The deadline for submitting online applications is May 21, 2026.

JHTET Exam Pattern: The Exam Will Be Conducted in Two Levels

The Jharkhand TET examination is conducted at two levels:

Paper 1 (Level 1): This is intended for individuals who wish to teach students in Classes 1 through 5.
Paper 2 (Level 2): ​​This is intended for individuals who wish to teach students in Classes 6 through 8. Both papers carry a total of 150 marks, and candidates are allotted 150 minutes to complete them. The good news is that there is no negative marking in this examination.

Register by entering your basic details.
You may now proceed to fill out the application form.
Upload the necessary documents.
Next, submit the application fee.
Finally, submit the form and take a printout for your records.
