JHTET 2026: If you aspire to become a teacher, the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026 is a crucial examination for you. This is a state-level examination; only after passing it can you apply for teaching positions in government schools across Jharkhand. The application process for JHTET commenced on April 21, 2026.

JHTET Exam Pattern: The Exam Will Be Conducted in Two Levels
The Jharkhand TET examination is conducted at two levels:
Paper 1 (Level 1): This is intended for individuals who wish to teach students in Classes 1 through 5.
Paper 2 (Level 2): This is intended for individuals who wish to teach students in Classes 6 through 8. Both papers carry a total of 150 marks, and candidates are allotted 150 minutes to complete them. The good news is that there is no negative marking in this examination.
