The ‘Viral Girl’ who came into limelight from Prayagraj Mahakumbh is once again in the news. Her husband Farman Khan has claimed that his wife is pregnant, hence she is in no position to travel or appear before the police. While talking to Madhya Pradesh Police who reached Kochi, Farman said that considering her pregnancy and health, doctors have advised her bed rest. At present, the police is investigating this claim and may ask for a medical certificate for confirmation.

After this statement it has become clear that the girl is not missing, but is living with her husband. However, the police have not been able to interrogate both of them till now due to the allegations of them being minors. During the investigation of the case, controversy regarding the date of birth also came to light. According to medical records, she was born on 30 December 2009, making her age less than 16 years at the time of marriage.

This marriage has been in controversy since the beginning. The family members alleged that Farman married her after coaxing her. The investigation by the National Scheduled Tribe Commission also revealed that Farman was a minor, after which a case was registered under the POCSO Act. At present, the Kerala High Court has stayed his arrest till May 20.
