Marvel Rivals developer NetEase is getting ready to release a big new update on PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The new Marvel Rivals update has an April 23 release date and a 10am BST UK release time. That's 2am PT / 5am ET if you live in the US, or 11am CET if you're playing in Europe. The good news is that unlike the recent 7.5 update, the next big Marvel Rivals patch won't require any server downtime, so you're good to play once the update is downloaded and installed.
The next big Marvel Rivals update introduces a new player-vs-enemy mode called Blood Hunt.
As part of the Blood Hunt mode, players will need to team up to take on swarms of bloodsuckers in New York City.
The Hellfire Gala also makes a return for 2026, complete with a new Gala Glam costume for Emma Frost. Fans can earn the costume for free, alongside other rewards such as Phoenix's Verdant Vogue and Moon Knight's Suave Spector costume.
Needless to say, the update also coincides with the release of various new item shop outfits, including Netherworld costumes.
