The Redmi K90 Max smartphone is offered in 12GB+256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB variants. The 12GB+256GB variant of the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,999 which is around Rs 41,000, while the 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 3,499 which is around Rs 47,000. The 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 3,999 which is around Rs 54,000 and the 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at CNY 4,699 which is around Rs 64,000. The dual SIM Redmi K90 Max runs on Android 16 based HyperOS 3. The smartphone features a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,280×2,772 pixels) M10 display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, touch sampling rate of 480Hz and peak brightness of up to 3500 nits. Apart from this, the smartphone also has a 3500Hz tyntensive touch sampling rate and a 480Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate. Its display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The new smartphone launched by Redmi has provided MediaTek Dementia 9500 chipset. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4 storage. For gaming, a dedicated D2 display chip has been used in this smartphone. For thermal management, the handset has a 6000 sq mm ice-sealed circulating cooling pump and over 12,000 sq mm graphite area. The new handset also features an active cooling fan, which is claimed to reduce the temperature by approximately 10°C in 100 seconds.
Talking about the camera and photography, the Redmi K90 Max features a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and f/1.68 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The smartphone has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phone features a 1115x symmetrical stereo dual speaker unit, which is co-tuned with Bose.
