Baking soda is also effective in cleaning the yellowness accumulated on your teeth. Make a thick paste by adding a little water to baking soda and then apply it on a brush or finger to clean your teeth. Keep in mind that use it only 1 or 2 times a week, otherwise the enamel may wear out and there may be a problem of sensitivity.
Baking soda is an excellent cleanser and it also helps in preventing bacteria. You can dissolve half a teaspoon of baking soda in lukewarm water and gargle with it, this will make your breath fresh.

Baking soda is very effective in removing stains and spots from your clothes. For this, add 2-3 spoons of baking soda in detergent and then wash clothes. This will make your clothes look more shiny, because baking soda is an alkali. With this the dirt gets cleaned easily. If there is any stain on the clothes which is not getting cleaned then mix baking soda and lemon and apply its paste on the stain and keep it for a few minutes. After this clean it with soap.
If you also find it difficult to clean the dirt, soap and salt water stains accumulated around the bathtub in the bathroom, then use baking soda for this. This can save you a lot of energy. Make a solution by mixing baking soda and white vinegar. Add some hot water to it and then spread it on the dirty areas. Clean after at least 10 to 15 minutes.
If there are silver utensils and jewelery in your house, then you can use baking soda to clean them. With time, silver items start turning black and often have to be polished or sent to a goldsmith for cleaning. You mix baking soda in hot water. Dip silver items in it for a few minutes. Just after this clean it with a sponge or soft brush.
