Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab has announced recruitment for Assistant District Attorney posts (PSSSB Recruitment 2026). In which eligibility, selection process and other information is available in detail. The application link will remain active till 20 May 2026. All candidates are advised to read the notification before filling the form.
Total number of posts is 170. Out of which 56 posts have been reserved for women. The vacancy is divided into different categories. There are 76 vacancies for General, out of which 26 posts have been reserved for women.
To fill the form a fee of Rs 1500 will have to be paid. Whereas the application fee for SC and BC candidates of Punjab is Rs 750. Whereas Ex-Servicemen, EWS and PwD candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500.
Ability:- To apply, candidates must have LLB degree from a recognized university or institute. Apart from this, there should also be 2 years of bar experience.
Age Limit:- The prescribed age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years. However, SC and BC candidates of Punjab will be given relaxation of 5 years. The maximum age limit is 45 years for state and central government employees and 47 years for PWD category candidates.
The selection process will involve several stages. First of all, written examination will be conducted. In which multiple choice questions will be asked. Each question will be of one mark. There will be 1/4 negative marking for wrong answer. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of score obtained in this. Candidates will be invited for counseling and document verification. During this, they will have to be present with the original certificate, necessary documents and their self-attested copies. After appointment, you will get a salary of Rs 35,400 per month under the 7th Central Pay Commission.
