• Chat pinning limit: Currently normal users can pin only 3 chats, but in premium plan this limit can be increased to 20 chats.
• Custom Themes and Icons: Users will get new chat themes, custom app icons and options to change the color of the entire interface.
• Advanced Notification: Facility to set separate notification tones and ringtones for different chats and groups will be provided.
• Chat Management: New tools will be provided to divide contacts and groups into different categories.

Beta testing is currently underway

‘WhatsApp Plus’ is currently in beta testing phase. The company is testing the service on a limited scale and gathering feedback from users. Therefore, the final version may not have all the features mentioned above; Some changes or new improvements may be made thereto.

How much will the subscription cost?

Although Meta has not yet announced the official prices, the estimated prices in the global market have been revealed:

• Europe: Approximately €2.49 per month.
• Pakistan: 229 PKR per month approx.
• India: The likely cost in India could be around Rs 273 per month.

According to reports, the company may also offer a one-month free trial to attract users. So that users can experience these features and decide whether they want to subscribe or not.

When will it be launched?

Meta has not yet announced an official launch date. The service will be similar to the paid version of Snapchat+ or Instagram. While the basic features will remain free as always, users will have to pay for advanced customization.
