A special session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly is being organized in Bhopal today. The proceedings of the session will start from 11 am. In the beginning, tributes will be paid to the late former MLAs, MPs and other prominent personalities. After this, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will present a government resolution focused on the empowerment and development of women in the House. This resolution includes implementing 33% reservation for women in the Parliament and all the Legislative Assemblies of the country and making it effective by completing the delimitation process.

Along with women's reservation, women's welfare schemes and achievements of the central and state government will also be discussed in the session. On behalf of BJP, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will initiate the debate on this issue, due to which an important discussion on women empowerment is expected in the House. Meanwhile, Congress has demanded that the Central Government should reserve 33 percent of the existing 543 Lok Sabha seats for women.

'Negative attitude towards women empowerment'

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Congress did injustice to women. Regarding the session, the CM said that since independence till now, the Congress has adopted a negative attitude towards the Women Empowerment Act. From Indira Gandhi to Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and her sister Priyanka Gandhi, the country will never forget the injustice that Congress has done to women continuously for five generations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to empower half of the country's population by giving 33% reservation to women.

CM said that I strongly condemn the role played by Congress and its allies like SP, TMC, DMK and all other opposition alliances in weakening this law. He said that we will once again pass a resolution in the House, in which it will be said that our government supports 33 percent reservation. This decision of PM Modi was very good.
