UPSSSC ASO/ARO Exam Pattern
The examination conducted for these positions will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. This examination, carrying a total weightage of 100 marks, will comprise 100 questions, for which a time duration of 2 hours will be allotted. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer; however, under the marking scheme, 0.25 marks (1/4th of a mark) will be deducted as negative marking for each incorrect answer. The written examination will consist of a single question paper comprising questions from three subjects: Statistics and Mathematics (65 marks), Computer and Information Technology (15 marks), and General Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh (20 marks).

What is the selection process?
Candidates for these posts will be selected based on the marks obtained in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025. Candidates who secure standardized marks reaching the category-wise final cutoff will be selected for the written examination, for which up to 15 times the number of vacancies may be called.
