Maitland Ward has opened up about the financial differences between her early television career and her current work in the adult industry, revealing a significant shift in earnings. Speaking on an episode of Hollywood Demons, the former sitcom actor shared details of how her income has evolved since her time on mainstream television.
Ward, who portrayed Rachel McGuire on Boy Meets World from 1998 to 2000, revealed her earnings during her run on the show. “On Boy Meets World, I think I made $20,000 or $25,000 an episode,” she said. However, she pointed out that such roles often came with uncertainty, including the possibility of being written out or replaced. She added, “You don’t have all the guarantees out there (via US Weekly).”
By comparison, Ward said her current work offers substantially higher income. She said, “In porn or OnlyFans, I can get six figures a month.” The actor also pointed to the long-term potential of her current path. She said, “There is also my adult film sales, and I am creating this brand. I can make it go for as long as I want it to go.”
Ward rose to prominence in the 1990s. This includes a role on The Bold and the Beautiful, before joining Boy Meets World. After stepping away from mainstream acting, she transitioned into the adult industry in 2019. Since then, she has built a sustained following in the adult industry.
The episode of Hollywood Demons featuring Ward is scheduled to air on April 27, 2026, on Investigation Discovery.
