US President Donald Trump sparked health fears after a mysterious 'bulge' was spotted during a recent interview. The 79-year-old had been appearing on 60 Minutes with Norah O'Donnell to discuss the dramatic security scare at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, where an armed suspect attempted to breach a checkpoint outside the venue.

However, while the conversation focused on the attempted attack, attention quickly shifted online to a still image from the broadcast. The photo, which shows Mr Trump seated during the interview, has been widely circulated on social media, with users pointing to what they described as an 'unusual protrusion beneath his suit'. The image has garnered significant traction on X, prompting a flurry of speculation about its cause. One user wrote: "That's a giant diaper he's got on," while another asked: "What is going on with his rump? Very unnatural." A third added: "Colostomy bag? Full Depends? God only knows..." Others highlighted additional details, with one commenting: "The tops of his ankles are now spilling over the tongue of his shoes."

The renewed scrutiny comes amid ongoing discussion about Mr Trump's health during his second term in office.

He made history as the oldest person to be sworn in as US President, taking office at 78 years and seven months.

Despite the speculation, Mr Trump has consistently rejected suggestions of any underlying health issues.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal earlier this year, he said: "Let's talk about health again for the 25th time. My health is perfect."

He previously attributed visible bruising on his hands to his use of aspirin, explaining that he takes "more aspirin" than doctors recommend, which he said causes him to bruise easily.

Recent public appearances have also drawn attention after photographs appeared to show makeup being used to cover marks on his hands. However, darker bruising has still been visible in some images.

Trump also revealed he had tried wearing compression socks to help with swelling in his legs, but chose to stop using them, saying: "I didn't like them."

Addressing earlier concerns, press secretary Karoline Leavitt insisted there was a simple explanation for the bruising.

She said: "President Trump is a man of the people, and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other president in history. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day."

Addressing concerns directly during the 11th cabinet meeting of his second term, Trump made the admission that he undertook cognitive tests to demonstrate his capability

"I'm the only president that ever took a cognitive test," Trump declared proudly. "I took it three times. It's actually a very hard test for a lot of people. It wasn't hard for me.
