Adam Thomas may have won I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, but it wasn't the highlight it should have been after the live final descended into utter chaos. There was already still tension brewing between Adam and Jimmy Bullard after their row in camp, and while Adam had stated that he had apologised, a row emerged once again on screen as both Jimmy and David Haye called out Adam for his behaviour when Jimmy almost got him booted out of the jungle after calling I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! minutes into a paired challenge.
Viewers at home saw a row emerge between the two as tensions reached tipping point, but people in the audience have also shared their own insight, with one user taking to Reddit to explain that Adam appeared quite "sour" after his win.
Taking to Reddit, one user wrote: "Adam definitely looked fed up and pretty sour after his win, not sure if he didn't feel he deserved it or if he just felt the moment was ruined for him. He took off his crown very quickly and left the stage as soon as he was allowed to (while some of the others were still milling around) and didn't seem to talk to anyone."
They said it appeared that Adam's brothers were able to leave when he did, though they needed to stay put until the very end. It was also claimed that Unpacked took place differently to how it was planned, which originally included a lot of audience participation, but things soon changed.
The user also noted it was "tense in the room" as they said Adam appeared to "ignore Jimmy", but stated it may not have been intentional. They added: "In the ad break after the initial bust-up with Jimmy, the celebs on stage definitely seemed to still be talking/arguing with various crew trying to de-escalate."
While the drama has continued, former Corrie actor Craig Charles has fiercely defended Adam as he spoke on his radio show The Craig Charles Funk and Soul. He said: "He's put his hands up and said 'I was out of order, I'm sorry, I really apologise'.
"And then what happened to Adam last night, our new jungle legend, that was bang out of order, that was bullying, it was bang out of order. I've never seen anyone so unhappy to win anything and my heart goes out to him."
He reaffirmed to Adam that he should have a dance and forget about it, telling him "life moves on". He added: "Congratulations mate, you'll come to enjoy it, you are a jungle legend."
