Despite how big Dhurandhar has been, a lot of people were criticising it for one reason or another. The same thing is now happening with Ramayana. The movies got a lot of negativity, and one hasn’t even been released yet. Mukesh Chhabra, the casting director for the films, also noticed it.

He spoke up against the judgment that people have of the films. To him, it feels intentional and something that is temporary.

Speaking with News18, Mukesh Chhabra talked about how negative opinions about Bollywood films is only increasing day by day. Having done the casting for both Dhurandhar and Ramayana, he is seeing all the negativity.

“The negativity is a bit too much these days. I don't know ki yeh sab kaun karwaata hai, kaise karwaata hai. (I don’t know who gets all of this done and how they get it done.) People tend to over-judge. I don't know why. It can happen to anyone these days. This troll culture has gained ground but I can't really do anything to stop that. I feel bad for everyone.”

He continued, “The moment they see the glimpse of a film, they start reacting. But you know what's the best part? These trolls immediately disappear the moment a film releases. I feel both bad and scared because people can say anything about anyone today.”

“When Dhurandhar was about to release, there was negative chatter online, but everyone believed in the film. The audience is very, very smart. The percentage of trolls on social media is very less. Shuru mein ek lehar tha, (There was a wave in the beginning,) but the love that was poured post its release superseded the negativity. Achchi film ko koi nahi rok sakta. (No one can stop a good film.)

He admitted that the negativity dies down eventually, giving rise to separate opinions and more positivity and praise. Mob mentality has made it so that once the hatred of a show or movie begins, the more likely it is to increase over time. Often, it can also be harsh.
